Exciting Night

On Saturday evening at we work we got a call from the ICU and they said that they needed one of us to come up and put someone on dialysis. I volunteered and was told to be there at 1950h(7:50pm). So I showed up and just as I got ready to put the patients needles in he had a heart attack and started having increase trouble breathing. So I stepped aside and let the doctors and nurses put in special medications through a IV and then I got to watch them intubate the patient, it was really cool. Once the patient was intubated they said he was 'stable' enough to dialyze, so I hooked him up and went on my way back to my unit.

Almost Done

The kitchen floor is almost done. D just has to finish grouting the last little bit this weekend and then we are ready to do the finishing touches. We have to find lighting, wondow coverings and put the baseboards up. Big shout out to D who has been working like a Burro to get this done for me. I will post pics when it is complete.
